First Electrician (EMEA)

As first electrical engineer, you are responsible for installing, testing and optimising the electrical element of our sorting and packaging machines. The work includes the entire wiring of the machine according to customer guidelines and assembling and (pre) calibrating the sensors. Ultimately, you will perform a safety test (I/O) with the software engineer.

You will be responsible for:

  • monitoring +/- 4 projects with respect to engineering and progress and you report to the supervisor assembly
  • you are present at the electric kick-off of the project
  • assembly, maintenance and repair of electrical installations
  • as First Electrical Engineer, you are keen to teach people something. You take the time to do this rather than doing it yourself
  • you manage and direct employees/subcontractors in a convincing and natural way. You conduct the final inspection before delivering the project
  • if required, you provide the service on site.

 

Your profile:

  • you have completed at least mbo-4 in electrical engineering (mechatronics)
  • you have several years’ experience in a similar position
  • you have (excellent) knowledge and understanding of electrical diagrams
  • you are familiar with electrotechnical regulations and materials
  • experience in mechanical engineering is recommended
  • you have good command of (written and spoken) Dutch and English
  • possible command of German is a bonus.

You consider effectively informing other people of the feasibility and infeasibility of the technology options important. Because you consider communications very important, you enjoy working with others and naturally you are also focused on working together with your team. However, when deadlines approach, you are also able to shift your focus to delivering the end-result as effectively as possible. And then it does not matter to you what your contribution might be. You can prioritise your work, because you work on several projects at the same time. Independence and taking initiative are second nature to you, and you never give up until you find the solution. You have a practical approach.
